Coimbatore: In order to commemorate the birthday of SuperStar Ranjinikanth's birthday members of the Coimbatore Pillaiyar Bakthargal Peravai and members of the Ranjinikanth Makkal Mandram organised a special pooja at the Gandhi park Murugan temple in Coimbatore.

The members also offered sarees to 71 women, 71 books to students. The members also visited the mother and infant care center at Gandhi park and gave fruits and bread packets to 71 pregnant women.
The Regional head of the Rajinikanth Makkal Mandram(South Zone) headed the event along with Pillaiyar Bakthargal Peravai Leader Premnath R , Market Mapilai Vellingiri and Chain Pattrai Ravi ( Periyakadai street) .
