Tirupur: Police arrest Manithaneya Makkal Katchi members protesting by trying to indulge in a rail strike to repeal Agriculture laws in Tirupur. They insisted on the withdrawal of the Agriculture Amendment Bill and also expressed support for the protesting farmers in Delhi for the 18th day in a row.

They insisted on the withdrawal of the Agriculture Amendment Bill and also expressed support for the protesting farmers in Delhi for the 18th day in a row.



Police tried to block them as they tried to go inside past the barricades placed by the police. They blocked both the roads of the bridge near Tirupur Town Hall ground and engaged in road blockade. The police immediately arrested them.



The Manithaneya Makkal Katchi who had marched earlier, staged a sit-in protest with plows and other farming equipment.
