Coimbatore: Rs 13 lakh 62 thousand collected in 104 cases heard in Valparai People's Court. The People's Court was presided over by Lok Adalat Judge Kavitha in Valparai, Coimbatore district today.
Advocates Muthusamy and Murugan took the lead. A total of 104 cases were taken up for hearing, including cheque fraud cases, money laundering cases, labour cases, vehicle cases and plastic products cases. Of these, 29 cases were completed.
Of this, Rs. 45,000 was levied as fines. In case of cheque and payment transaction cases Rs. 13,17,280 was collected. Lawyers Perumal, Palpandi, Sivasubramaniam, Anbunagarajan and Vinodkumar appeared in the court cases. Lawyer Viswanathan thanked everyone at the end.
