Engineer commits suicide by slitting his throat due to love failure in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: Engineer commits suicide by slitting his throat due to love failure in Coimbatore. Raju is from Ondipudur Kamatchipuram near Singanallur in Coimbatore.

His son Karthikeyan is 27 years old and is an engineering graduate. He was working as an engineer in a private company in Ottakkal Hall where he fell in love with a girl. But the woman refused his proposal.

Karthikeyan, who was found depressed due to this, slit his throat with a knife and stabbed in his mouth with a screwdriver at his home at 4am this morning. Karthikeyan was then found dead in a pool of blood. His father Raju lodged a complaint with the Singanallur police. After filing a case under Section 174, the police seized the body and sent it to Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy.
