Coimbatore: Acting upon a tip off, the Rathinapuri Police here on Wednesday arrested two drug peddlers who were hiding drugs to sell them to college students and daily labourers.
Coimbatore: Acting upon a tip off, the Rathinapuri Police here on Wednesday arrested two drug peddlers who were hiding drugs to sell them to college students and daily labourers.
Sub Inspector Selvamani and his team arrived at the location and arrested Jaffer Sheriff (25) and Ajith Kumar (21) for selling and posession of cannabis. The police seized 2kg of cannabis, a cell phone and cash from the accused.
Upon preliminary investigation, it was found that the duo were targeting college students abs daily labourers to sell cannabis. The duo were booked under appropriate sections of the IPC and remanded.
