Coimbatore: Continuing to register a dip in new infections, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday recorded 1,232 fresh COVID-19 cases and 14 more deaths, pushing the overall case tally to 7,94,020 and toll to 11,836.

Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 1,315 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,71,693 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 10,491.
Among districts, Chennai led with 347 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 133 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 70,262 today, totalling to 1,26,75,551 getting examined till date.
