Tirupur Congress holds Plow rally
Tirupur: Plow rally was held this evening on behalf of Tirupur District Congress Committee.
Upon directives from the President of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee K.S. Alagiri, Tirupur District Chairman Krishnan led the Plow rally which was attended by over 200 cadres.
During the rally at new bus stand, the protestors raisedslogans ondemning the central government for passing the recent agriculture laws against the interest of the farmers.
The rally was attended by a large number of members of various wings of Congress including minority wing, human rights, mahila congress, youth congress, Industrial department, and others.Former union leaders, senior executives also took part in the Plow rally.
All protestors were arrested by the police during the rally.
