Coimbatore: Workshop owner arrested for taking pornographic video and threatening woman employee for sexual favours. A 32 year old married woman is from the area near Sundarapuram, Coimbatore and has 2 children. She went to work at the Workshop three years ago.
She got into an illegal affair with Chandran (40), the owner of the workshop and has gone out several times and rented out rooms for their pleasures. During this Chandran had taken photos and videos of the woman who was naked using his mobile phone. They both had money transactions between them and due to a dispute because of it, the woman quit her job two months ago. But Chandran continued to contact her and asked her to go out with him for which she refused several times.
Enraged by this, Chandran threatened to post her nude pictures and videos on social networking sites, including WhatsApp. Shocked by this, the woman lodged a complaint with the Kuniamuthur police. Following the complaint, the police registered a case under sections 294 (b) and 506 (i) and arrested Chandran for threatening the woman. He was later produced in court and remanded in custody.
