Meanwhile, protesting on behalf of the union took place in 21 places in the district, including 7 in Tirupur. In this, Member of Parliament Subramanian started a protest in front of Tirupur Central Post Office.
Speaking during the protest, he said the struggle would be the beginning of an endless struggle against the state government for supporting the wrong economic policy of the central government and the central government.
Later, police arrested the unionists involved in the picketing in front of the Central Post Office. In this protest the trade unions took part in an innovative way of wearing a band name and turning the turban over their heads.
