Coimbatore: According to a press release issued by the Salem Railway Divisional Office, trains between Coimbatore and Chennai will be canceled today (Thursday) due to Nivar cyclone. Train No. 02675 Chennai-Coimbatore Special, Train No. 02676 Coimbatore-Chennai Special, Train No. 06027 Chennai-Coimbatore Special, Train No. 02678, Coimbatore-Chennai Special, Train No. 02680, Coimbatore-Chennai Special will be canceled.

Apart from this, the 06623 Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram train will be canceled between Chennai and Coimbatore today. 02639 Chennai-Alappuzha special train will be canceled from Chennai to Erode.
Also, 06231 Mayiladuthurai-Mysore special train between Mayiladuthurai and Trichy will be canceled. 06187 Karaikal Ernakulam Special will be canceled between Karaikal and Trichy. This train will run from Trichy to Ernakulam. 02084 Coimbatore Mayiladuthurai Jana Sadhapti train will run only till Trichy today.
Similarly, 02083 Mayiladuthurai-Coimbatore Jana Sadhapti train will be diverted from Trichy to Coimbatore todayinstead of Mayiladuthurai. Will be canceled due to Nivar storm. Full fare booked on trains is refundable. It states that the fee can be refunded within 6 months.
Similarly, 02624 Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai special and 02640 Alleppey-Chennai special trains will be canceled. Apart from this, the 06623 Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram train will be canceled between Chennai and Coimbatore today. 02639 Chennai-Alappuzha special train will be canceled from Chennai to Erode.
