Coimbatore: Police have arrested and jailed the daughter-in-law who threatened to kill her father-in-law. According to the police, Krishnasamy (55), a daily wage laborer, is from the Jakkarpalayam area in Coimbatore. His son committed suicide a few days ago.

He had complained to the Negamam police that the reason for his son's death was his daughter-in-law Meena. Police were investigating the case which led to frequent quarrels between the father-in-law and the daughter-in-law.There was again a quarrell yesterday following which Meena threatened to kill Krishnasamy and harassed him with inappropriate words. Shocked by this, Krishnasamy lodged a complaint with the Negamam police. Police filed a case under Act 506 (2) and arrested Meena.
