Woman files petition with Tirupur SP against man who allegedly defrauded her husband’s land

Tirupur: In Tirupur, a woman along with her children filed a petition with the District Superintendent of Police seeking action against the man who defrauded her husband's land.


Tirupur: In Tirupur, a woman along with her children filed a petition with the District Superintendent of Police seeking action against the man who defrauded her husband's land. Savita is from Tirupur Kanakkampalayam area and has been living with her two daughters and father-in-law Samiyappan and mother-in-law Balamani since her husband Ravi passed away 4 months ago. She alleged that the mother-in-law's cousin Soundarajan fraudulently changed the land owned by the father-in-law Samiyappan under his name and created enmity between her and her mother-in-law following which the mother-in-law had bequeathed the 5.92 acres of land owned by the father-in-law in her name.



She alleged that Soundarajan has beaten and tortured her for refusing to consent to his sexual favours. She said a case has been registered against Soundarajan after she lodged a complaint at the Perumanallur police station. She said Soundarajan, Viswanathan and Rangasamy had abducted her father-in-law and are threateningher that they will release him only if she withdraws the complaint lodged at the police station.

She also said that they threatened to kill with the family otherwise. The victim Savita along with her two daughters petitioned the District Superintendent of Police to take appropriate action and recover the lost property.
