Corporation Commissioner inspects developmental works in North and East zone
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner inspects developmental works in North and East zone. In connection with the installation of rainwater harvesting systems in all residential buildings, commercial complexes and government office buildings and low lying areas on roads in the Corporation areas of Coimbatore, Corporation Commissioner inquired the Aditya Aquatec Solutions who has installed a solar panel in their office building and a Sewage Treatment Plant at Ward No.43, North Zone.
He also inspected the work being carried out on the MayFlower Metropolis Apartment in the Udayampalayam area in the East Zone of the Coimbatore Corporation on collecting garbage from all the houses in the residential area and sorting it separately into degradable garbage and non-degradable garbage.
The Commissioner inspected the work underway on the main drinking water pipeline at Udayampalayam Road, Meena Estate, Ward No. 66. He then inspected the work being carried out to remove the water hyacinths in Valankulam. He ordered the concerned officials to dispose of them by vehicles and clean the area.
City Engineer A. Lakshmanan, Zonal Assistant Commissioners Senthilkumar Rathinam (North), M. Murugan (East), Executive Engineers (Smart City Project) Saravanakumar, Parvathi and Corporation officials were present during the inspection.
