BJP's Vel Pilgrimage
The Vel Yatra on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party started on the 6th of last month. The Vel Yatra is being conducted in every district under the leadership of BJP State President L Murugan.
The Vel Yathrai took place in the Nilgiris today, the 22nd of November. The Vel Yatrai in Ooty in the Nilgiris district starts at 11 am under the leadership of BJP leader Murugan. From there, the departing yatrai ends at Thudiyalur via Mettupalayam.
Once in Thudiyalur, BJP leader Murugan is welcomed. After completing it, he takes part in a Yathrai to the northern and southern parts of Tirupur. Following this, the Vel Yatra will start tomorrow at 4 pm at the Marudhamalai Subramaniaswamy Temple in Coimbatore.
The head of state Murugan attends and kickstarts the Yathrai. The pilgrimage will reach Sivananda Colony via the northern part of Coimbatore.

TN Congress’ Plow Rally
On behalf of the Congress party, the farmers' protection conference is scheduled to be held in Coimbatore today, urging the withdrawal of 3 recent agricultural laws of the Central Government.
At the conference, state Congress party leader K.S. S Alagiri, Tamil Nadu Congress Party Leader Dinesh, Kundurao - All India Congress Party Secretary, Sanjay Dutt, Prasad, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Senior Chairman EVKS Ilangovan, Thangabalu, Thirunavukarasar, Dr. Selvakumar, Tamil Nadu Congress Legislative Assembly Chairman KR Ramasamy and many of the state’s senior front leaders are attending the rally.
Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Executive Chairman Mohan Kumaramangalam, Secretary General of the State D. Selvam, Coimbatore North District Congress Party leader V. M. Led by C Manokaran, District Administrators R. P. Murugesan. Many, including BM Rangasamy, are organising the conference here in Coimbatore.
