Speeding car stopped by public in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: The incident where the public stopped a car that was speeding recklessly has caused a stir in Coimbatore.
Rash driving and speeding in arterial roads of the city, has become a common phenomenon, these days. Despite stringent action by the city traffic police and even arrests of numerous youngsters who race at odd hours on their high-end bikes or cars at city's arterial raids and highways, racing continues to panic the public.
This being the case, yesterday afternoon a youngster has allegedly been speeding in his BMW luxury car with number in RS Puram area, here. Enraged by his act, the public in the area stopped the car and warned the youth.
As the young man in the car admitted to his mistake and apologized, the public allowed him to leave. The incident caused a stir in the area for some time.
