Coimbatore: Dhanapal (45) hails from Nanjundapuram area of Coimbatore. He took his two-wheeler this morning in front of a private investment company near the Anna statue on Avinashi Road.
Subsequently, he poured the fuel that he had with him all over his body and set himself on fire.
He and the two-wheeler were engulfed in flames following which he was burnt to death.
Upon receiving information, Race Course Police rushed to the scene and sent the body of the deceased to Coimbatore Government Hospital for an autopsy.
Investigations are on.
