Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 2,504 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,04,031 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases were at 19,154.
Among districts, Chennai led with 657 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 220 cases and Chengalpattu 151.
Testing of samples stood at 75,331 today, totalling to 1,02,45,248 getting examined till date.
