Ganja circulation has increased in the Nilgiris district recently. As a result, young students are becoming addicted to drugs. A team has been deployed under Coonoor Deputy Superintendent of Police Suresh to conduct inspections and find a solution to this problem.
Leander, who was loitering suspiciously at MG Colony bus stop in Coonoor, was found in possession of 180 grams of ganja during a search led by Wellington Police Inspector Philip.
Following this, the police arrested Leander, confiscated the ganja and produced him in Coonoor Criminal Court and remanded him in custody.
