Coimbatore youngster kills himself over losing money by gambling online

He got addicted to online rummy during the lockdown and as he made a little money from the games, but later lost a lot of money. He has been playing consistently to recover lost money and has failed. Frustrated by this, Madan Kumar became addicted to alcohol. He got into a state of depression and hung himself to death yesterday.

The RS Puram police have registered a case and are investigating. Madan Kumar's suicide comes in the wake of the death of a school boy who killed himself due to addiction to the online game called PUBG.

It is to be noted that the number of people who are getting addicted to online games and not being able to get out of the addiction is increasing day by day.
