Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi: Islam organisations in Coimbatore provide food for over 5000 needy people

Coimbatore: Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam and revered as the final Prophet of God who imparted valuable teachings of the religion is observed today by Muslims across the globe.

Coimbatore: Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam and revered as the final Prophet of God who imparted valuable teachings of the religion is observed today by Muslims across the globe. 



The day is of utmost importance for Muslims across the globe and it is commemorated in the third month of the Islamic calendar, also known as Rabi'al-awwal. While celebrations had already begun in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the World since Thursday afternoon, Islamic people in India will be celebrating the auspicious day starting from Friday morning to late evening. 



As part of Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi day celebrations in Coimbatore, more than 5,000 needy peoole were provided free meals on behalf of the Sunnat Jamaat Federation and the Sunnat Jamaat Youth Federation in the GM Nagar area of Ukkadam, ​​Coimbatore.



The event was attended by Haji Itayatullah, President of the Sunnat Jamaat Policy Federation and members of Sunni Jamaat Youth Federation, and mosque imams.
