Yesterday, while traveling in his two-wheeler, he lost control and fell and sustained severe injuries to the head. Following this, those present rescued him and sent him to Mettupalayam Government Hospital.
Doctors who examined him there said he was already dead. The Sirumugai police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
In another incident Joby (53) a driver from Thrissur, Kerala lost control of his minivan and collided with a lorry while driving on the Sathyamangalam Road at Annur the day before yesterday. Joby died on the spot. Annur police have registered a case and are investigating.
