Coimbatore: Pollachi Jayaraman said, DMK leader MK Stalin's constant criticism of TN governent's welfare schemes are not taken seriously by the public. Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman attended an event that was held at the Periya Negamam Municipality Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society near Pollachi and distributed boxes containing coronavirus preventive medicines to the public.
Later, in an interview to reporters, he said that Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu's announcement that the COVID-19 vaccine would be given to the people free of cost as soon as it is discovered was criticized by opposition leader MK Stalin. He said it has become a routine for MK Stalin to criticize TN government's initiatives, but people no longer take statements seriously and consider them as humourous.
