The death toll in the state touched 10,825, with 45 more deaths being reported, the State media bulletin confirmed.
Tamil Nadu’s capital has been the worst affected district in the state with 833 cases being reported today. The other districts to report more cases were Coimbatore (285), Chengalpattu (193) and Thiruvallur (170).
As many as 4,314 people recovered from the infection today, and the total recoveries now stand at 6,55,170.
