Fire & Rescue Department conduct Covid-19 awareness rally in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: On behalf of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Department, Covid-19 awareness rally was held in Coimbatore, today morning. More than 60 people, including fire and rescue personnel, officers and staff from South, North, Peelamedu and Ganapathy took part in the rally.

The rally commenced from the Coimbatore South Fire Rescue Office, rallied through Avinashi road flyover, Anna Salai and concluded at the South Fire Rescue Department office.



During the rally, firefighters held placards with various awareness slogans, including washing hands with soap, wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.



The event was attended by District Fire and Rescue Officer R.Jagadish and other staff members.
