Pollachi: Pollachi AIADMK distribute sweets to public as part of 49th anniversary celebrations
Pollachi: Across Tamilnadu, the AIADMK cadres are celebrating their party's 49th founding anniversary in a grand manner and distributed welfare assistance to beneficiaries.
In Pollachi, the celebrations were marked by hoisting the party flag and paying floral tributes to the party's pillar -- MGR and late Former CM Jayalalitha. The event was headed by Coimbatore Central Cooperative Bank Chairman Krishnakumar and TN Assembly Deputy Speaker Pollachi Jayaraman.
At a function held in front of the Pollachi Central Bus Stand, floral tributes were paid to party leaders and sweets were distributed to the public. Similarly, party volunteers celebrated the 49th anniversary at 36 ward including Pollachi town and Vadugapalayam.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister and AIADMK Joint Coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister and AIADMK Coordinator O Panneerselvam, on Friday through a letter wished the cadres on the 49th anniversary and appealed to them to take a pledge to gain electoral victory in the upcoming Assembly polls.
