Valparai police create Covid awareness; people pledge to follow rules

Covid-19 awareness campaign was held on behalf of the Police department in Valparai, Coimbatore district. Valparai Police Inspector Maheshwari led the campaign held in front of the Valparai Police Station.
During the awareness campaign, the cops urged the importance of social distancing, wearing masks, hand washing and other Covid SOPs to the public. They also stressed the public to unnecessarily travelling for no obvious reasons.
Carelessness will cost a lot. Self hygiene can prevent us from getting infected, they told the public.
Subsequently, the public took a pledge to abide by the guidelines directed by the government to curb the spread of the epidemic.
The event was attended by Police Inspector Maheshwari, Assistant Inspector Satish, all cops from the police station and public.
