Pollachi: A total of 4692 students from Pollachi and Valparai taluk belonging to 71 schools including Government Schools, Government Aided School, Adi Dravida Schools, Private Schools appeared for 12th examination in March, 2020.
The results of the examination were released on July 16. Of the 4692 students, 4431 were declared passed. Due to the pandemic situation, the students were then provided with Xerox copies of the marksheets for college admission purposes.
The educational department has now geared up to issue original marks sheets to students, across Tamil Nadu. Similarly, the work of distributing original mark sheets commenced in Pollachi and Valparai, from October 14.
Students along with their parents, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing are seen collecting their original certificates from their respective schools. Officials said that soon the process will be completed.
