A letter has been sent from Anna University, Chennai on the 9th to prevent the taking of leave such as medical leave and casual leave which has been allowed by the government since 2015.
Teachers and staff working at Anna University in Coimbatore indulged in black flag protest condemning the letter and urged for its immediate removal. The protesters dispersed after the college principal Ravichandran assured to send a request on withdrawing the letter from Anna University, Chennai.
