Coimbatore: Man falls from tree and dies near Coimbatore while collecting firewood.
Coimbatore: Perumal (48) hails from Dharmapuri district. His wife is Anuradha (45).
They have set up huts in the Kurumbapalayam area near Coimbatore and work in a construction site in the area. On the 11th, the couple went to Kurumbapalayam forest area to cut firewood for cooking. Perumal climbed a tree and unexpectedly fell down while cutting branches.
He was seriously injured. Anuradha rescued her husband and admitted him to Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment. Perumal succumbed to his injuries there. Madukkarai police have registered a case and are investigating.
