Tirupur: The public besieged the zonal office in Tirupur to protest against the distribution of muddy drinking water.

Near Tirupur Iduvampalayam, where drinking water is distributed only once in 15 days, the public protested, condemning the corporation administration for distributing drinking water that is unusable due to the presence of sludge.

They accused that they are not able to use the water even after filtering it multiple times.

The public besieged the Andipalayam 4th Zonal Office, denouncing the corporation administration for not providing proper drinking water, saying that everyone in the area could not afford to pay for drinking water as most of them are hosiery workers and that there is a risk of infection from such unsanitary drinking water for the high number of children in the area.
