Coimbatore: The people of Udumalaipet are lauding the selfless efforts of a Pollachi Police Constable (West) for initiating to clear three iron rods that were protruding on the road, causing threats to motorists and pedestrains.

According to the public, broken iron rods and wires were protruding from a pot hole on the Udumalai Road near BSNL office. The rods had been posing serious threat to the motorists and the pedestrians.
Seeing the inconvenience and danger posed by the wires, Pollachi West Police Station Constable, bKalimuthu (PC.991) with the help of Selvam, who runs an welding workshop in the same area, removed the dangerous rods and repaired the road.
His thougtful act won the hearts of the public of the area who whole heartedly praised Constable Kalimuthu and Selvam for their selfless service.
