They demanded that the post of Gangman should be abolished and all the temporary workers should be made permanent.
They also demanded that certificates of completion of construction in Tirupur district should be provided soon and new electricity connections to applicants those who apply for them should be allotted without delay.
The demonstration was held in front of the Office of the Supervising Engineer near Mettupalayam bus stop in Tirupur.
