Coimbatore: Wedding hall manager in Coimbatore arrested for swindling Rs. 51 lakh
Coimbatore: Ramdas (45), son of Avinashiappan, of Subbanna Counter Layout in Nallampalayam has working as a manager at the Ponmani Wedding hall in Nallampalayam for more than 15 years.
He is said to have transferred about 51 lakh rupees into his bank account through online transactions from the wedding hall bank account since 2018.
Suresh Kumar, 30, the owner of the wedding hall, had lodged a complaint with the district criminal police last March alleging that their company manager Ramdas had misappropriated Rs 51,11,358 in the last two years. Based on the complaint, the police arrested, produced him in court and remanded him into custody.
