Coimbatore: Former Agriculture Department employee committed suicide by hanging as he disliked his new job. Prakash (36) is from Coimbatore's PN Pudur area.

He is married to Meena and has two sons. Prakash has worked at the Agricultural University for 10 years. He later resigned from his job to work for a private company. Prakash is said to have been suffering from depression as he did not like working in the private company.

Due to depression, Prakash hanged himself while his wife Meena had gone out. When Meena returned home, she was shocked to see Prakash hanging. With the help of neighbors, they brought down Prakash and took him to Coimbatore Government Hospital. Doctors who examined him there said he was dead on arrival. Saibaba Colony police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation.
