Coimbatore: Coimbatore man imprisoned for stabbing landlord believing him to be the reason for separation from his wife.
Coimbatore: Manilal Gandhi (68) is a retired railway official who lives in Amman Nagar, Podanur, Coimbatore. Ganesan (53) has rented a house from Manilal. Ganesan's wife had left him a few months ago and he was angry assuming that Manilal Gandhi was the reason for the separation.
When Manilal Gandhi came out to buy fish yesterday, Ganesan, who was there, stabbed him with a knife.He fell down unconscious and laid there in a pool of blood. Those present nearby rescued him and rushed him to the nearby railway hospital for treatment. The Podanur police registered a case against Ganesan based on Manilal's complaint and produced him before a judge and remanded him into custody.
