The Nilgiris: A ration shop operating in the Coonoor Ottupattarai area suddenly collapsed and fell on top of a nearby health center.

The ration shop, which operates on the Coonoor 27th Ward driveway, serves about 850 customers. With rice, pulses, sugar and essential items in stock here, the entire back wall suddenly collapsed.



The ration items inside the shop fell on top of the nearby health center and damaged the ration items. Also, the wall of the nearby health center was damaged when the rear wall collapsed. However, major casualties were avoided as none of the patients were there.

Later, Nicholson, co-op president Ravi and staff rushed to the scene to dispose of the ration items.
