Coimbatore: A man was killed as a two-wheeler collided with a lorry parked on the roadside on the Pollachi-Udumalaipettai NH.


Coimbatore: A man was killed as a two-wheeler collided with a lorry parked on the roadside on Pollachi-Udumalaipettai NH.

Kathirvel (38) from Unjavelampatti near Pollachi was a marketing manager in a private company. He is married and has a 9-year-old son. His wife Pavithra Devi is 9 months pregnant. While returning after work last night Kathirvel went out to a shop when he met with an accident.

He lost balance and the two-wheeler he was riding collided with a lorry parked on the side of the road. He was rushed to Pollachi Government Hospital by ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries. Pollachi East police have registered a case and are investigating.
