Coimbatore: Farmers protest against Farm Bills-2020 in Coimbatore.



Coimbatore: Farmers protested against Farm Bills-2020 in Coimbatore. Protests are taking place across the country condemning the agrarian law amendment bills.



As part of this, Tamil Nadu Farmers Association staged a protest in Coimbatore today.



The District Collector's office had barricades put up around it amid heavy police security due to the protest.



More than 150 members participated from the organizations including the Tamil Nadu Farmers Association and CITU.



The farmers expressed their feelings by going shirtless and being tied by metal chains. They said the laws are in favour of corporates and not farmers.



Unions including AITUC and LPF participated in the protest.
