Coimbatore: Integrated Child Development Scheme's street programme in Coimbatore on nutritional awareness impresses audience



Coimbatore: A street programmed on nutritional awareness on behalf of the Integrated Child Development Scheme in Coimbatore impressed audience.



The programme was held on behalf of Singanallur branch in Puliyakulam area of Coimbatore. An awareness dance on "Nutrition for All"to educate pregnant women and children on what nutritious foods to take.



The children who participated in the awareness dance wore garlands of vegetables and greens such as carrots, spinach, drumsticks and lady's finger. A petty shop-styled pushcart with nutritious snacks such as peanut candy, sesame balls, thenmittai, and coconut candy, healthy snacks, and books on nutrition was part of the programme. The public gathered to watch the programme were impressed.
