Coimbatore: Days after Superintendent ov Police, Arularasu was tested positive for Covid, G Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Director of Health Services has also been tested positive for the novel coronvirus infection.


Coimbatore: Days after Superintendent ov Police, Arularasu was tested positive for Covid, G Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Director of Health Services has also been tested positive for the novel coronvirus infection.

Senior officials leading the Corona infection prevention operations in the city, testing positive for Covid has raised concern amid the officials and the people.

After he experienced fatigueness, Mr. Kumar volunteered for COVID testing. After his results came positive, the entire office of Health Services is being thoroughly fumigated and all those staff who were in touch with him have been subjected for Covid testing.

A health official said:, "As hospitalisation is not required, presently Ramesh Kumar, Deputy Director of Health is under isolation at his home. He is stable and recovering."
