Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner inspected West Zone COVID-19 Control room

Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner P. Kumaravel Pandian inspected the COVID-19 Control Room in the West Zone of the Corporation.


Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner P. Kumaravel Pandian inspected the COVID-19 Control Room in the West Zone of the Corporation.

Various COVID-19 prevention measures are being undertaken by the Coimbatore Corporation. As part of this, the Corporation Commissioner visited the COVID-19 Control Room in the West Zone of the Corporation and reviewed the entry of data into computers. Information gathered by health workers who visit the houses in the West Zone and test the people for cold, cough and fever and information about those with COVID-19 infection that are sent to hospitals for treatment are entered into the computers. Commissioner reviewed the data.

The Commissioner insisted on the use of facemask, and gloves. He reiterated the importance of and washing hands frequently and and following social distancing to the frontline workers. He also insisted on following the guidelines issued by the government to keep the Corporation free from the spread COVID-19.

West Zone Deputy Commissioner A.J. Senthil Arasan, Executive Engineer Saravana Kumar, Assistant Executive Engineer Suganthi, Administrative Officer Usha, Assistant Engineer Kamalakannan and Corporation officials were present during the visit.
