Coimbatore: A farmer died on the spot when his two wheeler collided with a wild boar near Pollachi.

Coimbatore: A farmer died on the spot when his two wheeler collided with a wild boar near Pollachi.

Chokkalingam (67) a farmer from the Angalakurichi area near Pollachi was returning from his farm last night. When he was travelling on the Aliyar-Valparai Road and was near Puliyankandi, a wild boar collided with his two wheeler.

Chokkalingam was thrown away on impact and died on the spot. The people who witnessed this accident informed the police.

Following this, the Aliyar police arrived and retrieved his body and sent it to the Kottur GH for post mortem. A case also has been filed.
