Coimbatore: CCTV footage of two unidentified men on a two wheeler snatching the cell phone of a pedestrian in Pollachi has gone viral.

Two young men who were walking near a private petrol bunk on the Thensangampalayam-Kottur road in Kottur Police Station limits near Pollachi were targeted by two unidentified miscreants on a two wheeler. The two-wheeler riders snatched the cell phone of one of the pedestrians and escaped in a jiffy.

The video recorded on a CCTV camera installed at the petrol bunk has gone viral on social media. Since the person who lost the cell phone has not come forward to file a complaint, the police are yet to register a case.

However, Kottur police have launched an investigation to identify the cellphone thieves.
