Police in search of kidnappers who abducted a 17-year-old girl
Coimbatore: Police have intensified search of kidnappers who abducted a 17-year-old girl. Pechimuthu is fromBogampatti area of the Sulur taluk next to Coimbatore. Gopalakrishnan alias Gopal, who works as a guard in the same area, and his friend Rajasekar abducted Pechimuthu's 17-year-old daughter in a car.
Sultanpet police have registered a case following a complaint lodged by the girl's father and have intensified the search to nab the culprits.
Investigations revealed that the two culprits kidnapped the girl when she went to relieve herself. Initial investigation has revealed that Gopalakrishnan and the minor girl have been in love for more than a year.
