Coimbatore: A two wheeler thief was nabbed in Pollachi. He has been arrested and imprisoned.
Senthil (27) from Subbekavundanpudur near Pollachi found his two wheeler that he parked in front of his house missing. On August 30, he filed a complaint at the Anaimalai Police station that his two wheeler had been stolen. Based on this complaint, Anaimalai police had been conducting investigations including regular vehicle checks in the Anaimalai area.
During one such inspection, the police saw a man moving about in a suspicious manner. An enquiry revealed that the man in question is Suresh (38) from Chittoor Somandurai and he had been regularly stealing two wheelers from Anaimalai and its surrounding. Suresh also informed the police that he has stolen three two-wheelers so far.
Following this, the police confiscated the stolen vehicles from him and filed a case. Following this, he was presented at the Pollachi Judicial Magistrate Court-1 and was lodged at Udumalaipettai prison.
