Coimbatore: The Hindu Munnani State President Kadeshwara Subramaniam visited the Koniamman temple that was reopened today, for worship.
Speaking to the press there, he said, "All temples in TN were closed down due to the spread of COVID-19. The Hinud Munnani meanwhile demanded that temples must be reopened for restoring peace of mind among the public and staged various agitations. Now the temples have been reopened and all the devotees are glad to worship."
He also noted, "Temples under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department must make proper arrangements for the aged and disabled to visit the temples for worshipping."
