People with symptoms of COVID-19 can call the control room at Sub-Collector's office
Pollachi: The revenue department has announced that people with symptoms of common cold in Pollachi can call the control room in Sub-Collector's Office to get assistance on COVID-19.
Pollachi is seeing a steep increase in the number of cases and various preventive measures are being taken by the Revenue Department and Health Department officials. Pollachi Government Hospital, Kottur Road Girls' High School, Nachimuthu Maternity Hospital and private marriage Halls have been set up as Special Centers for Coronavirus Treatment with about 600 beds ready.
People are also panicking to go to hospitals as government doctors and private doctors are currently being infected. Hence to tackle this, on the orders of Sub-Collector Vaithiyanathan, the control room is set up to provide information on cold and flu symptoms in and around Pollachi.
People can contact 04259-224855 and provide details like name, address, phone number, etc. The medical team, including a nurse, will come directly to the location and perform the coronavirus examination.
