Coimbatore: 14 members including five members of a dentist's family and a sanitary staff, were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Pollachi.

3. 65-year-old woman from a dentist's family on Ansari Road

5. 18-year-old womanfrom a dentist's family on Ansari Road

6. 45-year-old manfrom a dentist's family on Ansari Road

7. 24-year-old woman, Makkinampatti Road area who works at MRN godown

8. 75-year-old woman, Oothukkadu Road Nalli Kavundar Layout

9. 56-year-old man,Oothukkadu Road Nalli Kavundar Layout

10. 44-year-old woman, Vanjiyapuram division

11. 23-year-old pregnant woman, Vanjiyapuram division

12. 40-year-old female sanitary worker working in Suleeswaranpatti municipality.

The infected people are being treated at Coimbatore and Pollachi Government Hospitals. All the areas where infections were identified have been brought under the control of the health department and tests are being carried out on those who came in contact with them.

Also a SBI branch near the Pollachi Gandhi statue was closed yesterday as an SBI bank employee tested positive.
