Tirupur: Aditamilar Peravai demanded police protection for J Krishnapuram Panchayat chief.

The Aditamilar Peravai protested opposite to the Tirupur District Collector's office today demanding that armed police security should be provided for Sarita, who was elected as the chairperson of the J. Krishnapuram panchayat in Coimbatore district.

They said even after her complaint to the Tirupur district collector's office against those who had insulted her by using her caste name in the panchayat and prevented her from working, there hasn't been any action taken until now. Hence the Aditamilar Peravai members protested seeking security for Sarita.
