Tirupur: Women protested with empty pots to regularize drinking water supply in Tirupur.



There are more than 500 families living in the Kallangadu area under Tirupur Corporation. Women in the area today along with the Communist Party of India (CPI) cadres protested wth empty pots alleging that drinking water was distributed only once in 15 days in the area.



They alleged that no action had been taken so far even after assuring to regularize the drinking water pipes.

They demanded that drinking water be provided in a timely manner.
